About Yuchi

• Yuchi Chiu (he/him/his) is an actor, singer/songwriter, and musician. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he moved to Chicago to study at Northwestern University and, upon graduating, taught high school special education for five years. Yuchi then transitioned into acting after completing The ACADEMY at Black Box Acting in 2019. Since then, he has worked in the Chicagoland area with TimeLine Theatre, Writers Theatre, American Blues Theater, First Floor Theater, and more. Screen credits include Chicago Med, work on Apple TV, and commercials at the local, regional, and national levels. Yuchi is proudly represented by DDO Artists Agency and is grateful to be a part of the Black Box family!
